Frequently asked questions
What finishing specifications do you support?
We support passivation per ASTM A967 and AMS 2700, anodizing Type II and Type III, Chemical Film per MIL-DTL-5541, and painting per mil-spec and customer requirements. Aerospace and defense plating specifications are supported across silver, gold, and nickel.
Do you perform finishing in-house?
Yes. Passivation, anodizing, plating, painting, coating, sand blasting, tumbling, and our sub-Ra 8 µin finishing process are all performed in-house. Heat treat and NDT are coordinated with certified vendors.
What is your sub-Ra 8 µin finishing process?
Our proprietary finishing process achieves surface roughness below Ra 8 µin, verified with profilometer measurement. It is used on semiconductor equipment components, precision mating surfaces, and other applications requiring ultra-smooth finishes.
Do you provide traceability for finishing operations?
Yes. All finishing processes are documented and traceable to part serial number. Full documentation is provided with every shipment.
